Donations gratefully appreciated but not required.

Community style acupuncture is widely practiced as a way to make low-cost or  no-cost acupuncture treatments available to large numbers of people who may or may not have easy access to treatment. Acupuncturists Without Borders is best known for utilizing this model across the globe. Licensed acupuncturists gather to provide healing and well-being to underserved communities as well as communities in crisis worldwide.

Participants sit in a circle of chairs in a quiet room. The acupuncturist moves from person to person around the circle to briefly check-in and give treatments. Once needles are inserted, receivers rest & relax for 20+

minutes under the practitioner’s supervision.

The most common treatment offered at community acupuncture clinics is called the NADA protocol. The acupuncturist places 5 needles in each ear. This treatment can help reduce stress and anxiety; reduce depression; improve sleep and appetite; and provide a general sense of well-being.
